I think most people saw this coming.  Credit to the Cru for taking the beating this year and doing what they need to do to get better.  I think, eventually, they will be the challenger that Beechwood needs in that  district, but it's not happening overnight.

Their middle school teams have been solid for what it’s worth.

That's good, because Beechwood's district competition hasn't been very interesting since they shared the district with some really good NewCath teams in the early 2000s.
