First time these two have met in five years, looks like this will be the decider for the 2 seed in 5AD2. Definitely one of the more intriguing games across the State for this Thursday evening slate. Both teams will have a BYE week after this one is settled.

The Gators (4-2) are heading up I65 in hopes to lock up a home playoff game. I’ve been impressed with their defense throughout the season, their front 7 will give this Barren County offense a problem. Offensively it’s all on the back of SR Davis Chaney, very talented but after his contributions it’s very bleak from the rest of the team.

The Trojans (3-3) are working for the same thing in their first year back in 5A. I know when you play their brand of football if you don’t have a QB who can throughly run the system it never looks the way it should.

I’ll be tuned into this one, should be a physical defensive game. Best of luck to both teams.

Nice preview TBC!  Maybe the best game tonight across the state!

Should be very competitive!  I think Greenwood "should" win, but Barren County has a punchers chance especially at home.  And a LOT of incentive as hosting a playoff game is a chalkboard punch list item from the pre-season in my book.  Good luck to both teams!

I think this should be close Greenwood has not really been that impressive except for the South Warren game and Barren had not been impressive until last weeks game albeit against a lot lesser opponent. I think Myers has changed the culture around in the old days Barren would’ve got smoked against Greenwood and probably lost a close one to Grayson. That being said I still feel like Greenwood probably wins something like 20-14.
