I can be biased on this because I am from Raceland but this year is going to be a little different I think than the previous years! Raceland and Pikeville seemed to be in the drivers seat the last few years but in my opinion there’s a little more parity, if I was to pick one I would have to go with Raceland just because I think this will be their year!

Is Raceland senior heavy? Do they have all the pieces to win it all? What happened to them at Pikeville giving up the big lead ?

It’s an opinion and no Raceland isn’t a team that’s loaded with seniors but they are loaded with juniors and stand a chance to win it all just like anyone else in the top five in class A.

Raceland vs. East Carter to end the year may be a game everyone needs to highlight.

If East Carter beats Russell this could be a RPI goldmine for Raceland. If KCD wins their district they will be tough to catch, but if that East Carter game turns into a battle of 8-1 teams then this will be Raceland's chance to cement a home playoff path.

As I mentioned in Class 4 RPI Rankings, Holy Cross Covington feels some damage by KHSAA tweaking RPI formula for withdrawn teams.  Holy Cross Covington saw WP drop 0.06501 and RPI drop 0.02257 as a result of regrading Holmes.

First thing I thought of this morning was about how much Coach Estes hates RPI. Beat the #1 ranked team in 1A and still ranked behind them the next morning. Potentially meaning the 4th round would be an away game against Raceland instead of a home game. Crazy.

I don't believe any Class 1A team wants Raceland at Raceland.  And I agree, RPI does a disservice to Kentucky High School Football and I think it undermines the integrity of the KHSAA.

Come on man.  We, at Raceland, would love to host Campbelsville at Ram Stadium.  I promise, it will be a nice venue and we will have a great time.  One of the nicest places in the state to play.  

I think Raceland has a pretty good chance at being #1 after next week. The top 3 all play a 3A team but Raceland's opponent has a much better won loss record. I think they can gain enough to pass KCD.

You're not helping.  Funnel Cakes, Ram Burgers, Cars parked on US 23 and the Lawn Chair Mafia in the end zones.  It's awesome.
