KHSAA 2025 Boys Soccer RPI Has Been Released

Featured Replies

Let the comedy show begin. St. X ranked #8 in state. Trinity #9 in state. Compare and contrast the records and the schedules of these teams vs all other schools in the Top 10.

RPI is worthless but until someone puts together some other systemic way of ranking teams statewide, it is what it is….. And I think EVERYONE knows it.

As you all know I am a football guy and we know the RPI is problematic for football.  With Soccer, what did any of you propose and/or how could the Soccer RPI be improved?

If you are going to rank teams by a statistical method then I would have to go with Rundell rankings. The ranking is only Kentucky high school soccer.  Purely statistical methods can be fairly accurate if enough games are played. I guess that if the computer program is good enough then just maybe it could be useful. If I'm out of line making this kind of recommendation then please delete this post.

St. X #12 in RPI currently but Maxpreps ratings look better. Although Henry Clay has beaten St. X.
