Love to see a poll:  Was Bruce Pearl’s retirement timing?
 

1).  Strategic to ensure his son was hired.

2).  Just read his own tea leaves and knew he didn’t have the necessary fire for another year.

3).  Maybe very private reasons that he is entitled to keep that way.

Some have speculated that he wants to get into something outside of basketball. I always worry about a coaches health when stuff like this happens though. 

Can't wait for Brad Calipari to be the next Arkansas coach now, too. #earnednotgiven
