Game Preview: Franklin County (3-0) vs. Lexington Christian Academy (1-2) ? Sept. 12 | 7:30 PM | Franklin County

Franklin County is off to a scorching start, sitting undefeated with dominant wins over Great Crossing (54-21), Bullitt East (28-21), and a complete dismantling of PRP (62-0). The Flyers are flying high and look every bit the 4A powerhouse.

Meanwhile, LCA rolls in battle-tested but bruised. The Eagles are 1-2, navigating one of the toughest opening schedules in the state. After a solid win over North Hardin (42-21), they’ve dropped back-to-back games to Boyle County (28-21) and CAL (47-7). This matchup marks game four in a brutal five-game stretch.

So the question is: ? Can LCA bounce back and prove they’re still a contender, or will Franklin County’s momentum be too much to handle on their home turf?

Let’s hear your predictions. Who takes it?

I’ve been fortunate enough to see both of these teams this year & IMO, LCA is the better team.  I’ll take LCA 34-21.

This is truly a toss up game. I wouldn’t be surprised with either team winning in the slightest. I’ll give the edge to Franklin though.

Franklin County 28

LCA 21

The win over Bullitt East was NOT dominate.  But......it was a "W" none the less.

Too many injuries for LCA.  I’ll take FC in a close game.

Very true. After watching the game, you are right, it was not dominant, but like you said, they are 3-0. Sometimes you gotta win ugly.

In 10 years all you will see is a score and very few will remember just how the game went.  Unfortunately I will be one of the few.

7-0 Franklin County.

21-14 FC at the half.

Same score and LCA is in the red zone.
