It just doesn't seem like the talent level is as high as it has been the last several years. But we always overreact in Week One, so who knows?

That's the Herbert all the nerds say he is (despite being just over .500 now for his career). Dude balled out.

For KC, I'm not sure how you can keep playing Jawaan Taylor at tackle. Dude is a walking penalty that could have been flagged 10 more times than the 4 flags he received. He single-handedly killed multiple drives. I would also be concerned with how KC performed up front on defense. Credit to Herbert, but unless the Chiefs blitzed, Herbert had all day. This comes after LAC lost one of the best OT's in the NFL two weeks ago.
