Cam O'Hara (QB, Cooper)

We knew when Cooper's schedule was official that Week 1 would be a giant hurdle to clear for both the Jags and O'Hara, but  I don't know that anyone would have predicted he'd struggle as much as he did.

O'Hara must have thought he was in Jurassic Park, as Raptors seemingly covered every inch of the field.

This was easily one of the worst games of his career, as he completed just 5/17 attempts for 53 yards and an interception.

One game won't make or break O’Hara, especially in a wide open race like the one we're looking at.

We'll see how short his memory is, as Highlands awaits this week.

*This will be a season long thread, serving as an extension of the BluegrassPreps Mr. Football Watchlist and focusing on individual players as opposed to the wider net of the weekly watchlist.

Bump.

Arm talent is there, to be sure, but the production won't be this year.  A shame for him, as he has all of the tools.

I will say he would have had 2 or 3 BIG plays to #6 last night (Campbell, maybe?) if he had put a little more air under the ball.

Bump.

From the Boone/Cooper thread thanks to @JUGGSPORTS!

Cameron O'Hara (2022-25) tied Tim Couch (Leslie County 1992-95) and Ricky Bowling (South Laurel 2005-08) for Touchdown Passes in a Career at 133.  O'Hara also finish 10/10 last night and brought his career passing yards to 10,380.  This sets a new Northern Kentucky record, passing Tanner Morgan (Hazard/Ryle 2013-16).

O'Hara seems to have had a very solid year. He has done what needs to be done but his receiving corps is not as deep. Rarely does a team have guys like they had the previous two seasons so the offense runs differently. In his defense, he has not played but about half of the game recently and that makes it seem like he's down in production. All I can say is Western got a good one!!

From the Cooper/Simon thread O'Hara had 8 TDs and 453 yards passing last night against Simon Kenton.

Graphic going out on social media today.

Campbell made me look lame lol! 6 td receptions? Wow. Cooper faces a gauntlet in 5A moving forward. Good luck and keep rolling. Simon had no answer for Cooper's offense.
