South Oldham and Bowling Green have never met before.  Bowling Green is honestly starting to feel like a team of destiny.  They trailed much of the district championship against Warren Central, w

I'm not going to pretend that I thought they'd necessarily blow it out, but like I said yesterday, I've seen Bowling Green in these types of matchups, and they win them.  A team that relies so heavily

Bowling Green wins 73-51, they advance!

10-0 run for Bowling Green.

You can’t let Luke Idlett get established. He’s too much of a sharpshooter.

As far as I’m concerned, this game is already over.

32-23, SO with a little surge near the end of the first half and they need it.

32-26 BG, SO on a big run.

Bowling Green 37 South Oldham 26

Halftime.

SO went on a run and BG answered right back.  I wouldn't count South Oldham out because of their shooting ability but Bowling Green is in control of this game.

Idlett averaging almost 17 a game over his last five, and that is including this game which has another half to go. He has really risen to the occasion - only Adair really was able to contain him in that stretch.

South Oldham is tired and legs are gone. They are short on every spot and 4 for 17 on three. Jeffersontown game took a lot out of them.

I see some of that too and they did have to give their all against Jtown.  But, these are young men and we all know from being there you can dig deep within yourself and rise up.

BG has a way of making good shooting teams look bad. Defense is very good and aggressive. So far, nothing I’ve seen has surprised me.

I think if it is Great Crossing against them tonight, BG is in trouble due to the height of Moreno. But when Jtown went out yesterday, I really felt that there was no one else left in the tournament that I’d pick against BG.
