16thBBall Fan Posted March 16, 2025 Posted March 16, 2025 Final. Duke wins the ACC without two starters. A great season for the Ville will continue in the NCAA tournament. An awesome turn around by Coach Kelsey! 3 1
sportsfan41 Posted March 16, 2025 Posted March 16, 2025 Seems like Duke turned up the defense in the second half and maybe Louisville didn't shoot well. I didn't watch the second half but that's quite the turn of events from how the first half ended.
Tranquility Base Posted March 16, 2025 Posted March 16, 2025 No one expected the Cards to be there. They played well, but got a little too cold in the second half. In March of 2024, I didn't think, as a fan, I'd be sitting in March 2025 waiting to see where they open the big dance but here we are. 2
16thBBall Fan Posted March 16, 2025 Author Posted March 16, 2025 They led 47-45 with just over 14 minutes left in the game and the Cards went cold and only scored 15 points in the last 14+ minutes of the game.
hrcarrier Posted March 16, 2025 Posted March 16, 2025 Without Reyne Smith and Chucky Hepburn being a non-factor, it was too much to overcome. Louisville obviously has nothing to feel bad about. They were projected to finish 9th in the ACC during preseason. Considering that and where they were before, it was one hell of a first season under Pat Kelsey. The future is very bright in my opinion. Let’s get the NCAA tournament started. Go Cards! 2
TheDeuce Posted March 16, 2025 Posted March 16, 2025 Louisville has a good shot to win this game if Reyne Smith is healthy, but I’m not disappointed in the outcome. On to the one that matters. 2
