Trinity vs. St. Xavier Predictions/Updates (7th Region Championship)

Tonight is the night! St. X has been on a collision course all year to be here and is still undefeated in the state of Kentucky. Trinity has had a up and down season that in December had several injuries and they fought thru that and here they are in the regional final. This will be a game of two complete different styles as Trinity will rely on defense and try to slow it way down and keep it a half court game while St. X will want to play fast and keep the tempo going with full court pressure and going deep into their bench. I do not see St. X being denied here as they are playing as good as they have all year and are on a mission.

Either St. X wins big or Trinity upsets them by 1-5 points. Can Chance redeem himself from last year's game against Seneca?

Trinity was the team I was most pleased to see on the opposite side of the bracket. I think Trinity has the length and athleticism that will give St. X the most trouble. It’s hard to beat a team 3 times in a season, but I think St. X is able to complete the sweep of Trinity in close game similar to the regular season match opposed to the LIT game.

What's been impressive about St. X last two games especially against Ballard is their defense and I think another game of good D and the Tigers will be off to Rupp.
