All State Baseball Posted March 7, 2025 Posted March 7, 2025 What a dandy this one was. Chaney misses a three at the buzzer. Estill was up 4 in regulation with 33 seconds left and back to back turnovers let Wolfe tie it up. Estill was up 2 in the first overtime, Creech missed the jumper but the put back at the buzzer, tied it up again and sent it to a double overtime. 1 2
gchs_uk9 Posted March 7, 2025 Posted March 7, 2025 Saw both of these teams play before Christmas and I'm not sure I would have expected this. How many did Creech score for Wolfe? I know he can get a lot of points really quickly.
The Professor Posted March 7, 2025 Posted March 7, 2025 Estill County basically fumbled this game away. As Strikeout mentioned, two turnovers at such a crucial time in the game with a 4 point lead. One was on a baseline in-bound pass. I believe the Engineers had somewhere around 24 turnovers.

My high school coach always stressed that it wasn't the last shot that you had to worry about, it was a putback after the shot. Very true statement. Sounds like a fun game to watch.
