What a grass field!

Greenup County has one of the nicest natural services you will find.  Impressive.

They also recently updated their film room and indoor facilities.

1.  Greenup played young and lacking experience.
2.  Greenup’s run game has potential.
3.  Greenup has to tighten up on defense.
4.  QB can be good, but he needs receivers.
5.  Greenup will be able to run early, but they have to a find a player, or two, on the edge to stop teams from loading the box.

Feel like the Defense has been a weakness since Coach Jones took over.

Two defensive coordinators the first two years and some shuffling around following the departure of Zack Moore. Look for more continuity this year in the second year of the defense and what some say a "refocus" of sorts. I think they will be better defensively, but have a lot of ground to cover.

I hope so. After the way last year ended with the running clock to Mason Co, seems like they missed the window. With the sister district top two being highlands and CovCath, could be awhile before we see a playoff win.

2022 being the last playoff win largely puts the image in a not-so-great spot. It is a tough district with an even tougher sister district for GC.

I'm hoping GC falls back down to 3A where they should be in the next cycling and competing with the Devils to win district titles.
