I think strength of schedule plays a part in those 17 wins.  They also gained two key players in the off-season.  If Augusta can win district then he should be considered.

Wins:

St. Patrick (3x)
Bracken County (2x)
Robertson County (2x)
Nicholas County
Mason County
Harrison County
Carroll County
Boone County
Bellevue
Villa Madonna
Bishop Brossart
Ludlow
Holmes

Losses:

Mason County
Pendleton County
Nicholas County
Beechwood
Bourbon County
Owen County
Bishop Brossart (All A)
Ryle
Calvary Christian

This is where I'm at. A great season, but the SOS was very poor.

Now remember, I didn’t say give him the award but, right now, he deserves some votes. In my eyes we have exceeded expectations. Before the season when asked about this team I said we wouldn’t be as strong as last year but we’d win the games we should and even some we shouldn’t. But I didn’t know it would add up to 17 wins going into the district tournament. Watching these boys develop as the season has progressed has been a lot of fun. There are other candidates, strong ones, young coaches trying to make their mark in this region, but my pick is Jason Hinson.

Does anyone know when Region 10 publishes the All Region teams.

I have seen the girls team and KABC teams.

It has not been released yet.  Don’t think they have voted yet either.

I saw that Garyn Jackson was POY for the 10th. Unsure on anything else.

Josh Cook: Coach of the Year for the KABC. Congratulations to Coach Cook!

Josh Cook coach of the year 10th region.  Very deserving and well over due.  Since arriving at GRC his accomplishments speaks for it's self:  4-regional titles, 1-state championship and 1-state runner-up!!
