February 2, 200719 yr I wouldn't count out Doellman and Cage just yet. Xavier is the class of the A-10 and have just as good of a chance as anyone in the conference to win 4 games. I say they win the A-10, and get in! Xavier has alwasy played the BIG games well in the last 4 years. Class of the A-10??? I don't buy that for one minute...
February 2, 200719 yr Class of the A-10??? I don't buy that for one minute... They have 2 senior starters that started as freshman that were a couple of possessions away from going to the final four. Burrell has shown he can get hot at times, and Lavendar has been inconsistent but can still play. Beat Villanova, Illinios, and played Alabama tough. They were pre-season #1 in the A-10, and for a short while (well a week) were ranked in the top 25.

You forgot the most important thing.....They have Sean Miller as coach.....That right there is like giving the opponent a 10 point lead before tipoff.

February 2, 200719 yr It's the truth. He is an awful coach. I watch/attend more Xavier games then most people. The only problem I have with Miller is he doesnt seem to be able to get the guys up for these inferior opponents. I dont know if he allows them to overlook teams like Duquense,St. Louis, Bucknell or what but they just do not get motivated for these teams. As far as x's and o's go he is good. IMO. And the players love playing for him.
February 2, 200719 yr I don't think you can call X the class of the A-10. They should be, but they aren't.
February 2, 200719 yr They should be, but they aren't. I still can't believe this team has more than 3 or 4 loses...
February 2, 200719 yr Road losses do not look good in the eyes of the NCAA Selection Committee. So do home losses look okay then?
February 2, 200719 yr Sure they can make it, they should be one of the favorites to win the conference tournament, but like GT stated, you can only go to the well so many times before it's empty.
