Tonight is the night that WWE's Monday Night Raw is moving to Netflix.

- Logan Paul makes his return.

- Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match.

- Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley for the Raw Women's Championship.

- Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre.

- John Cena makes the debut on his farewell tour.

Plus much, much more. Supposedly some debuts and returns in store as well!

I thought about taking a look see because there is no football and I figured the first episode on Netflix would be fire.  I am also sure there will be a bunch of upset people.

Yeah, I came across a FB group talking about the show tonight, it was mostly negative.

As big as they made this out to be, to me at least, it was like it never left USA. Same ole same ole.

I thought it was a good show.  Especially the main event.  Curious to see what the show will look like over the next few months.  Netflix is paying them a half billion every year and will have a lot of demands.  Fortunately for WWE, this is typically their best four months of the year.

Ok. So I have not watched wrestling in probably 25-30 years, but with the transition to Netflix and knowing how popular it is, I thought I would give last night a shot. Maybe it was because this was the Netflix opener, but I couldn't do it. With last night being the kickoff, I'm sure there was a lot of spectacle-type stuff that doesn't normally occur. It was half an hour in before the first match got going. Is there always a buildup before the first match?

Maybe I will give it another shot next week when the new car smell wears off.

I had the same mentality but then I saw the FCS Championship was on and I was glued to the TV.

From The Ringside Roster-Wrestling News & Rumors on Facebook:

BREAKING: WWE officially announced that RAW brought in 4.9 Million viewers for it’s debut on Netflix 🚨

The company noted that the show was watched by 2.6 million households in the US and generated 233 million views across social media for it’s premiere.

That is 116% percent higher than RAW’s average in 2024 and is an absolutely HUGE SUCCESS!
