I'll stop at 3 articles for the day.  But this one is probably the best of the 3 again from Kentucky Prep Gridiron's Fletcher Long (GREAT Job Fletcher!) regarding the career of the Great (Late) Dan Haley, who was head coach for Bryan Station and led them to the 2A Title game in 1969, then moved to the storied program of Paducah Tilghman and took them to the 2A Title game in 1973 and 1980, winning in 1973 vs Boyd County).

He then moved to Bowling Green and took over for Vince Hancock in 1984 and started building anew for what would be a run of 12 seasons, a 119-33 record, a state runner-up campaign in 1994 and a state title in 1995 for BG.  Don't get me wrong BG has had some good coaches over the history of the program including the likes of Wilson Sears in the 70s, Jim Pickens in the early 60s; Elvis Donaldson in the mid 40s to mid 50s and Doug Smith from the late 20s to early 40s, but to me Coach Haley was the one to implement a standard and a culture that remnants of it are still present today.  And that speaks to the man he was.

This article is great!

Slow Motion Replay: Dan Haley had the Midas Touch! @pths_football, @bryanstationfb, @PurplesFootball, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans – Kentucky Prep Gridiron

He led Paducah Tilghman to their first ever football championship in 1973 AND to Bowling Green's first ever football championship in 1995.  That alone is REALLY special.  Wanted to make sure my friend @TilghmanPride sees this too!

Lots of great information and history on the BGHS Football Webpage
