Final. Seneca Driver is an unreal athlete. 

The score was a lot closer than I expected after watching Rockcastle County get blown out at home by Somerset.  

Boyle has a long way to go to be a contender in the 12th. They lack outside shooting. Brown played but didn't look healthy.

Agreed. They need to look to play a more up tempo style as the one advantage they will have most nights is athleticism. They are not at all well suited for a halfcourt game. As you said, outside shooting will be a challenge plus they are a lot smaller than the regional contenders. They struggled with the size of both Southwestern and Rock. 
 

Regarding Rock, their big kid played a great game. Scored and rebounded very well. Anyone have his stats (points and rebounds)?

Connor Hunt #20 is a stud.  Motor never stops.

I have covered this region for BGP for several years now. Boyle has firmly become a wildcard year in and year out. Capable of beating everyone in the region and also equally capable of losing to everyone in the top 16 of the region. I have no doubt that is the case this season. This game, to me, helps show that.

From my observations of Boyle over the years their best teams are the ones with at least one good outside shooter combined with some decent athletes. Hagan Tyler, Bryce Slone, and Luke Imfeld come to mind.  Add in some football players for defense and rebounding and they can be really good.  In the years they don't have a really good shooter they've gone .500.  You are correct in that even then they are capable of pulling a big upset.  IMHO it's based a lot on officiating from game to game because they play really aggressive defense and will make it as physical as possible.  If the other team backs down from the contact or gets in foul trouble trying to counter it then they have a chance.  If the officials are calling it tightly it will go the other way.

Hagen and Luke were much more than shooters. They could create their own shots. And Luke’s team was the last good Boyle team. I think his ability to not just shoot, but be their offense, was the primary reason for their success.
 

I also think the Boyle teams under Adams and Webb have had very different identities. Adams’ teams generally featured basketball players and supplemented with football guys. During the Webb era, they’ve instead featured football guys.I know that one has to play the hand that they’re dealt and there is some truth to that. But Adams was effective at using his (football) athletes to supplement the more skilled basketball guys.
 

As far as shooters, Boyle has had a few guys the past few years that could shoot the ball, I just don’t think they have effectively gotten them quality looks.

Rock isn't a scrub team.  Solid win for Boyle Co. IMO.  They took a big hit losing Craig, but Rogers/Hunt/Parsons are a solid trio.

They didn't look very good against Somerset and Somerset was playing without their starting center, Lonesky.  Was Rockcastle missing someone or was that just a bad night?

#20 (Hunt) for Rockcastle is a solid player.  He plays physical but clean.  I'm surprised that given Driver's propensity for trying to block shots they didn't post him more.

I think Rock had an off night with Somerset playing really well too.

Rock definitely needs to get the turnovers under control.  Plus, they were 2/18 from three and 10/22 from the line against Somerset.  That'll pretty much guarantee a loss against anyone.  They shot a little better against Boyle.

He had 21 points and 15 rebs.
