The only thing you COULD call would be unsportsmanlike, but who is it unsportsmanlike to? There was no defender near him when he scored and then he was on his own sideline. Would have been an extremely weak flag IMO.

I don't understand the rules then because I wasn't aware you could have all these extravagant TD celebrations in high school, or any at all for that matter.   Whatever it is, who cares, it wasn't called, and Raceland has a chance to get right back in the game here.

I’ve noticed they give them a lot of freedom in celebrations at state. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen one called.

Good.

Rams to the 1.

2nd and goal.

3rd and goal from the one.

Touchdown Rams!

Touchdown Rams!

Going for two from the 8.

Dropped.

Gary Ball can't see.  I noticed the same thing last year, he needs a spotter.

Are touchdown celebrations in high school legal?  He danced in the endzone and then took off, took his helmet off and jumped into the stands.  Is all that not a penalty?  Two penalties?

Guru, that “non call” comes from the top down. I personally would have just grabbed him and said cut it out….go! The pregame with the state and officials plays in to what in that case is called.

20-15 Spartans.

222 left in the 3rd.

Sayre leads 20-15 with 2:22 left in the 3rd.

Look, I would LOVE to see TD celebrations in high school. Anything is better than a bunch of grown butt pros that all run down the field together and celebrate in the end zone after a turnover.  All I am say is change the rules and make it clear to everyone celebrations are allowed.  We can't pick and choose standards in life or we have nothing.

I think Paul Brown said it best, “Act like you’ve been there before.”
