The first installment was a conflict of attrition that ended when North Hardin turned the visitors away at the goal line. The previously unbeaten Trojans of Barren were threatening to force overtime inside the final minute.

It was defense that won the night in Radcliff, holding Barren to less than four yards per play. BC's only score came on a short field.

The slow crawl of that rush hour traffic went both ways. Barren shackled top prospect Ronald Lunz of North, allowing him a single reception for six yards and containing the blue Trojans' occasionally high octane passing attack. 

Are the two destined for another rock fight to the finish, or will the urgency of the playoffs inspire a little more risk taking?

Series History ?: North leads 8-0 since 1998, including the 14-6 win on October 4th

 

 

This seems like one of those games where Barren wins close or North blows them out.

Thanks. A huge opportunity for each team to get to Round 3 and see how they handle a “step up” in class. 

What a great run for Barren (North too I guess).  Pulling for Barren in this one!

Coach Myers will have to pull a trick or two out of the hat in this one to get a win on the road. SO LB Corbin Wells had 16 tackles in the last meeting, I’ll venture out and say North will bust a couple big ones this time around. Not sure it’ll be a shootout but don’t see another 14-6 paint drying type of performance. Curious to see if Lunz gets held in check again, was shocked they couldn’t get him involved the last time around.
