Great Crossing (7-3), is led by QB Jeremiah Clark who has passed for 970 yards and rushed for another 463 yards. Other leaders on offense include; RB Luke Ballard (1081 rushing yards), and receivers Britton Persley, and Taron Lewis who have combined for 488 receiving yards. On defense they are led by Wyatt Highley who has 111 total tackles on the season.

Meade County (5-5), is led by QB Cade Scott, who has thrown for 1733 yards and rushed for another 287. His leading receivers are Branson Stull (585 yards), Aiden Bratcher (386 yards), and Ethan Kaiser (320 yards).

A stat that would scare me if I was a Greene Wave fan is that they have allowed more points (272), than they have scored this season (259).

This is another sneaky good first round matchup. In the end, Meade County has got to slow down the ground game of the Warhawks to keep this game close in the 4th quarter.

My Prediction: Great Crossing 36 Meade County 28.

This has the potential to be a great game.  I think it comes down to Meade's defense against that Great Crossing run game.  Great Crossing runs it for 233 per game vs a Meade County defense giving up about 140 per game.  Wyatt Raney and Thomas Fox will have their hands full tonight, but I actually like them in this matchup. Meade QB Cade Scott can sling it and he has a solid corps of receivers.  A lot of people do not realize that Scott has a Marshall offer.  Coach Mofield always has his guys prepared for the postseason.  Give me the Wave in an upset!
