January 30, 200719 yr I find it hilarious how the UL fans make that game seem unwinnable for the 'Cats. Nothing is 100%, though I firmly believe that the chances of UK winning are about the same, or maybe marginally better, at the very, very best.
January 30, 200719 yr No, beating Louisville is something that the cats have been there and done many times over. Louisville is 9-3 since renewing the rivalry....these Cats don't have a clue what it's like to beat the Cards....don't try to diminish how very important this game will be to UK fans.

I think there is several reasons to believe UK will be in a much better position. 1) Its a home game 2) We basically return our entire offense and should have an upgrade on the O-line. 3) UL has lost more defensively than UK. UK had a very young defense last year and is bound to get better. I think UK has a real shot of winning next season.

As far as UK's defense, they will have to get ready for a completely different scheme and they will not have seen CLOSE to UL's weapons in the first two games.

The 1st 2 games will give UK a chance go get in a groove though. Also, I dont care how good your D is I dont think you will be able to stop UK's offense next year. The idea of Woodson, Burton, Tamme, Little, and Lyons is really exciting, just to name a few.

January 30, 200719 yr I think people are underestimating UK for next year. They return 18 starters(the entire offensive scoring and every important defensive player) and throw in the injured, redshirts, grey shirts, jucos, a new DC and experience and confidence and they could be something very special. Almost all the big games are at home and I say every game on the schedule is winable. Bottom line is minimum of 7 games as in 06 and with a much improved team who knows.

It will be important, but I think there will be a few more important games on the schedule. Maybe Florida, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Tenessee.
