As a fan I hope it’s a close game so it’s fun to watch and Beechwood hasn’t had a challenge in weeks but I can see the tigers scoring at will tonight.

I'd like to know the average amount of plays per drive it took Beechwood to score during district play. No matter where they started on the field I can’t see that number being more than 4-5 plays.

Beechwood Tigers vs. Bracken County Polar Bears

Beechwood travels to Bracken County for the final 2024 regular season game.
Broadcast at 7:15pm, Kickoff at 7:30pm

Sure hope this broadcast is video?  The NFHS broadcasts at BC are just horrible.  No voices, one relatively low camera run by kids that sometimes are not pointing it at the game (never show scoreboard) and the stadium PA system is very faint.  Maybe the BW broadcast guys can overcome the challenges because this potentially could be a solid post-season warmup.

This is Beechwood radio on the road.  The video, if we have it, will be up to Bracken County.  So whatever it is, it will be different than the bad camera angle at Beechwood games.

Beechwood 40, Bracken County 6.

Last year when they played, I believe it was 21-0 at halftime?  This is Bracken County’s best team in school history in my opinion (22 years of it).  They are the smaller school in 2A and unfortunately would have had a good run in 1A.  But if they lose tonight they could have a potential rematch with Beechwood.   The football field and facility may be the worst in the state.  If you are standing on one sideline, the field is so uneven you can’t see people on the opposite sideline below the knees.  Bracken County should run the ball every play.  They passed the ball seven times last year completing three.

Beechwood kicked off to start the game. BC from their own 20. First play 12 yard run by Tarter.

Run for 4 yards on 1st down. 2nd and 6 QB run to the Beechwood 33 yard line for a huge gain.

0-0

1st down snap directly to Tarter for 4 yards. 2nd and 6 run by Tarter again for 4 yards. 3rd and 2 run by Benedict for 3-4 yards for a first down.

This PA system is very bad and very loud

Touchdown bracken. Didn’t throw once. 7-0 BC

1st and 10 Benedict runs for 11 yards down to the Beechwood 7 yard line. 1st and goal run down to the 2 by Benedict. 2nd down TD run by Tarter 2 yards. XP is good 7-0 Poler Bears

Wow, fantastic drive Polar Bears!!
