The game went as most expected. Congratulations to NCC on a nice and Impressive win. Obviously this was a bittersweet night if this was to be the last varsity football game at Davis Field, which I don’t have reason to believe this will change. There’s no question that there was a field and stadium around with the uniqueness as being a different place compared to the rest of NKY, if not all of Kentucky. 
 

The turnout definitely didn’t disappoint, it was awesome to see Davis Field get the send off it deserved. I was also happy to see the many people I did. Tonight definitely had the biggest crowd since Dan Ridder coached, if not longer. I will post some more photos, great night for the city of Dayton. 
 

Davis Field will never be forgotten, far too many memories.

My favorite part of Dayton’s field was always the corner of the end zone being behind the fence. I didn’t get a photo of it but they even drew the white line corner of then end zone on the blacktop behind the fence. 

I was going through pictures on my phone and came across this. This was my freshman team football picture from 1992. We had 32 players. We had a bigger freshman team then compared to what many high school varsity teams have now. It is what it is though, awesome memories with this picture alone.
