Male (6-1) will host Fern Creek (4-3) after beating Southern 49-6. Fern Creeks is coming off a 15-14 win over Bullitt East. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

Last year, Male beat Fern Creek 42-6.

Male against Southern rolled in the first half over the overmatched Trojans, and the Male dynamic duo of RB Chayce Burton and WR Antonio Harris had a quick but efficient game with Chayce Burton scoring 1 touchdown off 3 carries and Antonio Harris scoring 1 touchdown off 2 receptions. The defense was led in tackles by LB Reece Williams with 5 tackles.

Fern Creek in a tight battle with Bullitt East was led by QB Kaleb Passmore (Perfect QB last name) with 118 yds and 2 touchdowns. The two touchdowns were caught by TE Patrick Carr and WR John Smith. The defense was led in tackles by DE Travis Moten with 13 and 2.5 were for a loss and he had a .5 sack.

Male is tough to stop on offense and will take a monumental effort for Fern Creek to stop them. This game will most likely be a similar score as last year and Fern Creek will want to avoid the running clock that looks inevitable in this district matchup.

Male 35-12.

7-0 Male.

10-0 Male.

Male 10-0 at 7:45 in 2nd.  Fern Creek after 1st lengthy Male drive and Burton score has been very stout on D.  #48 Aiden Josiah has had 4 sacks of Male QB.  Surprising breakdown by the vaunted Dawgs line.

Chase Burton down on 45 yard line with 4:05 in 2nd.  Laying on stomach after short 4yd gain.  On 2nd commercial waiting to see/hear.

Chase is still down after 10 minutes and surrounded by numerous adult professionals.  Now on his back.  This cannot be good for one of best backs in Ky high school football.  Prayers.

Poor young man is still down after 30 minutes.  Appears to be a major leg problem.  Are you kidding me!  Announcers said waiting for an ambulance.  Guess problem comes from this 1,050 JCPS administrators making over $110,00 per year.  Not enough heavy hitters to arrange for medical support at a high school football game!  Are you kidding me!  Ambulance finally loading young man.

45 yard TD Williams to Harris.  17-0 Male at 2:45 left in 2nd.

Parents, gets your kids and get out of JCPS.

With 7 seconds left in half Williams throws a lazy pass that is intercepted and taken 69 1/2 yards to the Male 1/2 yard line as time expires.  As close to a pick six as you can get.  Male 17-0, but looks flatter than their field.

Prayers for the Burton kid.

Was looking forward to seeing Spike/Moten matchup but haven’t seen spike tonight.

Any word on why Spike isn’t playing tonight?
