I truly believe that Coach Jones gets everything that he can from his players.

I agree...Perkins is the the glue of this team , he play's under the radar alot of the time's....but after the game the points and rebounds are there....and it show!. He is smooth...A team player '' The General'' out on the floor.

I am looking forward to seeing Gallatin in Richmond. I am interested to see how they will fare. Their first round matcup against LCA should be an interesting game.

What are opinions on how the 8th Region All A will look like next year?

Yes indeed, great game by both the wildcats and rebels. I really wish there was two tournament MVPs because I think that Daniel Neeley had MVP performances through the whole tournament. When he wasn't scoring, he was dishing out assist, when he was on defense he was putting hard pressure on the ball. Just an all around great player in Neeley. Perkins also deserved the MVP because of his play, great scorer and defender. Perkins can play pretty much any position on the court.

 

And Lunatic I am going to have to take Owen on the cheerleader fight. Not only was it intense with the ball players but the cheerleaders were going at it. I seen one cheerleader throw an elbow at the other but i also seen body guards take care of the situation. A very comical night on the sidelines. :laugh:

 

Daniel is an experienced player. At Owsley he was voted best defense player and made the All Tournament Team as he started pt. guard as Owsley went on and won the distric tourament in 2005. That team was 16-14, went to the semifinals of region , so Daniel Has the experience he'll need to lead Owen into the distric tournament coming up not too far away. Wish him the best of luck and happy to hear he is having a good season.
