Just taking a VERY BRIEF look at the loveless Cougars and I do not see where they were left out?  They were trounced by Ryle in their only game of real consequence and managed to slip past SK who's defense is quite generous to say the least.  If you look at teams 3-10 in the 5A rankings, I cannot name a single game Conner would be favored to win at this point. 

Cougars will get all the love they want in the next few weeks with The Jags and The Bluebirds.  They find a way to come out victorious against one of those teams and they crack the top ten.  Until then, their schedule hasn't produced anything of note.  Lots in front of them to play for!  Good luck.

Conner would have done alot better against Ryle if Hatfield played qb the entire game. He played WR most of the game against Ryle.

I heard he did play QB all game.  Ryle is on another level than Connor. If they played 10 times Ryle beats them 10 times

Grayson Montgomery played qb. Hatfield caught 2 passes and threw 0 passes he did run the ball seven times.

Glad to see the Dragons climbing the rankings. Those tough early scrimmages and first game are paying off. That was a great win vs a tough Oldham County team. Just no quit in these guys. Now let’s see what happens in what looks like a pretty good district schedule! Keep it going Dragons!!

I think Graves will lose this Friday to MNH who I also think could be top 10 right now; so I don’t believe that’s far fetched. The NCC win is just as good as any South Oldham victory. Pulaski sure they competed with Beechwood and Woodford but what do they have to hang their hat on, it can’t be the win over GRC who just lost to a handicapped Ballard offense. After #7 I see a bunch of teams #8-#15 all in the same ball park with cases to be made to be in the top 10.

Well, you won’t be seeing me putting MNH in the top 10 with the loss to Fort Campbell. MNH returned a ton of production from a team that beat them 58-7 the year prior. But the rest of it sure, you could make cases. I would disagree with them, but have at it for the top ten. But that’s not even what I was getting at, if they played today I still wouldn’t favor them over Pulaski or Graves. Maybe South Oldham. Even then I would struggle with it. 
 

It’ll iron itself out but Conner would have to do more than hang their hat on a victory over 1A NCC to convince the majority. Seems that the BGP poll reflects that as well.

Now they have plenty of incentive in front of them—as do most other teams!! Somehow rankings in week 6 are fun to look at but let me know how you do in November. That is when it really matters! 

@BillNye If you told Coach they ran for 500 yards I believe he’d feel like hell would need to freeze over to lose, plenty of strange things have happened on the military base not as shocking to me as most I guess. A win this Friday will wash that slip up away.

 

The Cougs are at 11, I guess the members of the poll do seem to see NCC as a formidable opponent.
