Where did you see that? I am going by Douglass’ Coach McPeek. Playoffs are criss-crossed again. His quote state thr Broncos are opposite Trinity this season.

So T vs H in the 2nd round this season.

  • All Male announcers are awful.

  • This game is a prime example of why you don't leave a high school game early! The Rocks stayed the course and this should be a big win down the road for their RPI.

  • No. Trinity would get Ballard/Oldham County or Fern Creek/Bullitt East in second round. The two district champs cannot play before third round. I am guessing Southern would be first round for Trinity.

If both T and H win their district, they will not meet in the second round. 1 seeds would play the opposite 4 seed in the first round. In the second round, the 1 seed plays the winner of the 2/3 seed game.

I am guessing Southern would be first round for Trinity. Third and fourth rounds come down to RPI rankings/ratings. Trinity and Male would have to meet before state final. Ryle, St Xavier, Manual and Douglass would take turns beating each other and that survivor would represent the eastern half of the state. I am guessing Trinity or Male will be the western representative. The Shamrock win over Male may be worth two extra home playoff games, including the possible rematch with the Bulldogs. The crown built into Male's field will not enter Trinity's playoff path this season.☘️ ?

Last year of crown since they are getting artificial turf field after this season.

What I don't know is how that punter got the ok to run it out of his end zone. I just can't see that play being called from the sidelines. I know they ran a similar play early in the JV game and hit for like 40 yards but that's just really bad ball. The pass on third down and Harris going out of bounds were icing on the cake. It just really seemed like Male ran out of gas in the fourth quarter after dominating with stretch running plays and wildcat option runs for most of the game. Trinity's opportunistic defense and a clutch drive were the difference in this one, no doubt.

Anyone saying the officials were one-sided need to adjust the rabbit ears coming out of the coax port of their RCA...

So The Trinity player touching the ball on the punt on the 3 yard line, Male recovers and the ref call him down..if that's not bad officiating I don't know what is. It is what it is move on

One play does not make or break a game.  Male had an opportunity to step up and shut down that final drive by Trinity. The opportunity was there for both teams on that drive.  In the end, Trinity took on the challenge and 96 yards later, they won the game.

True, but what is the RULE when the punt return team touches the ball/ doesn't possess it and the punt team recovers??

The ref ruled that Kamara touched the ball while on the ground and makes the "downed" signal after Vrbancic takes it out of his hands. It did happen very quickly but if he ruled that Sekou had the ball in his hands while on the ground, it was the right call.

I synched up the Glicod Audio and the WDRB video and enjoyed the game Sunday evening until....the last drive was deleted and suddenly Trinity was playing Center Grove! I really enjoyed the Glicod pro-Male announcers describe the final moments of this titanic struggle.

The Pro-Male announcers made no attempt to hide their bias. They spent the entire game cheerleading for Male. Made the victory even sweeter.

After 10/4 games, I recognized the error in my thinking:RPI remains difficult to understand. St. Xavier is behind Ryle after the Tigers seven point win over Raiders. Head-to-head should probably be more heavily weighted in calculations. Round four matchups will be difficult to predict until regular season is concluded 11/1/24. The final four teams will be ranked by RPI only and their regions will not be considered.
