Hardin County Preps
For the 2023 and 2024 seasons, Meade County has been thrust into 6A District 3 with PRP, ST. Xavier, and Manual. Despite the obvious challenges of being in a district with powers, Manual and ST. Xavier, they will be a senior laden team with size along the offensive and defensive lines and talented skill players in the offensive backfield that should be able to be competitive and maybe pull off an upset win vs Manual or ST Xavier. Key Losses: QB Bennett Hobbs, RB Cruz Redmon, and RB Tyler Smallwood, DL Grant King Key players returning on offense: Senior QB Cade Scott, who started a majority of the games last season, WR Brandon Stull, WR Braydon Mofield, TE Aiden Bratcher, and senior linemen Ethan Spencer, and Thomas Fox. Junior QB Grayson Heiner should be a dependable backup QB and could push Cade Scott for a starting QB position on this team with his arm strength and athleticism. Key returning players on defense: Leading tackler from last season (54), LB Wyatt Rainey, LB Thomas Fox, S Braydon Mofield, CB Connor Cole. This team boasts size on the offensive line and a balanced offense that can put up points with speed at their receiver positions. I think that this team can post a record of 7-3, 8-2 during the regular season, avoiding Trinity in the first round of the playoffs. 2024 Meade County Football Schedule: August 23rd Henderson County Home August 30th Elizabethtown, Away September 6th Apollo Away September 13th Central Hardin Home September 20th Daviess County Home September 27th Bardstown Home October 11th PRP Away October 18th ST Xavier, Home October 25th Manual Away November 1st Bullitt East Away 1
Purple88
Nicely done HCP! I watched a 7v7 game they had earlier and they looked much better than I was anticipating. If they have line play as you suggest, perhaps those Manual/X games could be competitive.
CardNation
Believe the Waves have several Seniors and Juniors coming back. Looking at last years roster, most of the offensive line returns, along with top WR's, Mofield and Stull. Really good LB'r, Rainey also returns. Their QB, Cade Scott picked up an offer from EKU this summer and has several other schools interested.

Tigerpride94
St. X beat Meade County 43-0 last year so they will have to be vastly improved to have a shot at upset. St. X will travel to Meade County so will have better chance than if being on the road.

They have great size on the line and good skill players. It’s still early so just working out the mistakes and miscues!!
