Reds at Braves (7/22 - 7/24)

Featured Replies

I'll try again I can't do any worse than I did for the Nationals series.

The Reds (47-53) start a 3-game series at (54-44) tonight in Atlanta.

Well, there's game 1. Season didn't end today.

Can they get another win tomorrow and extend the season even further?

I suppose David Bell's IQ went up 50 points today - you know, playing Benson and he goes 2-2 with a HR. Genius, right?

All tongue in cheek comments of course. Doom and gloom on every at bat gets tiring in a 162 game season.

Game for tonight is postponed and will be made up on Thursday, July 24th.

The Reds are up 4-3 in the 2nd in game one today.

Elly with his 50th stolen base and 18th homerun already today. (11 game hitting streak)

Reds up 7-3 in 3rd.

Reds end up winning 9-5 and the 2nd game of today's doubleheader is at 6:05 this evening.

Game two canceled due to expected rain. That means the Reds follow up being swept by Washington with a 2 game sweep of the Braves in Atlanta. The young team roller coaster rolls on.

Don't see many rainouts in July, let alone 2 in one series.   Wonder if MLB is trying to figure out if retractable roofing every stadium is feasible and if they can get fans to pay for it?   LOL
