I've stuck with them through it all, but after Creen hung a few FF banners as well as at least one championship in his first 5 years, a lot of other people would be a lot more of UK fans with Creen at the helm also.:thumb: I've always given a ton of respect to the UK program, but there are some fans that allow me to have a lot of fun on here. I was working in radio at Marshall and I got the same feeling from Billy D. Creen has "it" right now...

I try not to be as touchy about Ctas basketball anymore, its got so routine that its really not worth debating over. Theres just so man pro Tubby, and so many anti-Tubby that you don't really have anyone that is just stictly Kentucky......I know you've had your fun with me, but I've learned the Tubby guys won't buy into the bashers and the bashers won't buy into the Tubby guy's so its best just to keep it with Kentucky basketball, I've learned that by now, I'm hoping the others will just follow suit.

February 18, 200719 yr Marquette will win the Big East regular season title... Well if happens the same way as it did last year, then I really need to consider betting alot of money on Marquette to win the NCAA tournament this year. Because it doesn't look like Marquette will win the big east now, but you said the same thing about Florida last year and they didn't win the SEC like you said but they just went on to win the NCAA National Championship. So I really am considering putting money on Marquette to win it now, and hope history repeats its self...:thumb:

February 19, 200719 yr Author I disagree.....you have to have the current "crop" buying in first. I'll buy that part. BUT. We know nothing of Kennedy as an evaluator of talent at the top spot. If he can't get the talent the "coaching them up" flame burns out fairly quick. He has taken two groups landed by others (I'll give you that he did have a big hand in landing what UC had last year, but he also takes equal heat for what didn't make it to campus and depleted the roster) and done a very good job at getting them to play for him. I'll keep expectations real until he does it with a roster all his own...
