Regardless it’s really good competitive football and hopefully provides a free education.  Good luck Dylan!

It is really good football, with very good facilities, and a really good school. And starting next year, it will be D1.

UD (as us native Delawareans call the school) is transitioning to D1 next year and will be a member of Conference USA. Traditionally the Blue Hens have been a very strong 1AA/FCS school. They play legit football there and have sent more than a few guys to the NFL. Delaware is a great school, and I wouldn't classify this as "going down" a level.

All of that being true, it wasn't a slight or a knock at Delaware, D1 FCS or D1 non G5 or non p4, is down a level from where this same kid would have ended up 10 years ago. Respectfully.

I've been to games at Murray St(they played NDSU), Duke(played ND), Miami (OH) in the last 14 months. The differences in those three games alone represent levels. All great football, all great schools, all at different levels. Its not a knock, its just a fact.
