It will be three more big wins for the bobcats. If you say that Breathitt ant beat anyone well who has Lee,June Buchanan,Estill Beat.

 

Well, June Buchanan has beat Bell County,Hazard,Knott, and a pretty decent Pineville, Estill has beat a good Madison Southern,they had a 2 point loss to a good 13-4 Silver Grove,and a good Leslie team, and Lee has beat a good 13-7

Scott,a good 11-4 Barbourville, and a good Powell and Knott team, and for Breathitt, other than Hazard, the best team they have beat, being between Buckhorn,Magoffin, and Cordia

I am not knocking Breathitt's kids. They looked like a better team than their record indicated last year. I am impressed by the improved record. I based my posts on what the original Breathitt post said about the playing time. If he was incorrect then so am I. If, on the other hand, the score was run up, then shame on the coaches.

Most of Breathitts starters are JV Players and Freshman they have 2 seniors on the team but only one gets to play. Three Freshman starting Varsity. Breathitts has got a real young team to.

People like you always are the ones putting good teams like Breathitt down from what I seen Menifee had the same players that they did when Breathitt played them at the being of the season. And they scored 100 points to prove that they are a good team because when they beat a team 7 points ever one puts them down by saying that team ant no good they just beat Menifee by seven points. When other teams in ky beats a team by 100 plus no one says anything. I just cant understand how people think Pick on the mountain teams.

People like me?:laugh: If you had been around more then a few weeks you would know that there is no more of a Bobcat fan on this site then me. But being a fan doesn't mean not being critical at times. And I didn't say starters, I said front line players meaning the first 5 and the next 2 or 3 off the bench. At 3:30 left to go in the game there were 4 front line players on the floor for Breathitt and one kid , Salyers, who plays a little varsity. So whoever said Breathitt played everone 5 min. is just wrong. That is a fact. It does have to do with class and not humiliating a struggling team, but I think Breathitt was going to reach the century mark regardless and that's why they didn't sub.. And perhaps the coaching staff sees a margin like this as a boost for a young team going into the toughest part of the season. I don't know and don't really care but don't get on here and be less then honest to justify something. Or, accuse me of not supporting mountain teams.

I try not to put anyone down, and those other teams have to paddle their own boat. Breathitt is my team so I have a vested interest. Look at it this way, if some team last year had beat a young Breathitt team by 50+ what would your stance be? My guess is a little bit different then now.

That's interesting, as in other posts you seem to attribute their bad year last year to coaching. But now you knew they were not very good and expected losses?

I have no comment about whether or not Breathitt ran up the score. What I can say is that Breathitt is a tallented, quick, deep and well coached team! I saw them play a couple of times and they really impressed me. If JBS beats Breathitt then JBS has one H--l of a team.

I was at the game last night and i do know that menifee had just 1 starter out. It was their center. Now i do know that the hayes, smith, and hollon was took out midway thur the 3rd quarter and noble, and fugate was taken out after the qt. was over-It's ok for JBS to beat riverside 100pts but you let breathitt score a 100 and all you here is how bad that is. You don't go 18-1 and not be a good team. I can't wait to see the game between JBS and breathitt, it was the same thing against hazard after the first game. It was suppose to be a fluke. But after they beat hazard at hazard then something else started. It make's me sick to see how everyone is really to say something about a kid or kid's. This bunch went 4-23 last year and i do know that breathitt is playing i think 18 of the same teams that they played last year. So give these kids a chance and let them enjoy this and quit bad mouthing them. They didn't even make it out of the dist. last year and know there is talk that they r one of the favorite's to win the region so take a look at what you are saying.

 

In case you were wondering JBS beat Riverside 81-39 tonight. JBS played every kid including 3 8th graders and a 7th grader. Also Clark Stepp was on the bench in street clothes watching the game which I thought was a class act by JBS.
