January 23, 200719 yr I just saw on ESPN that Rondo has passed of Telfair on the depth chart. That really surprises me beacause i thought Rondo wasn't doing as good as the Celtics had hoped...Telfair really made a HUGE mistake by passing up on Pitino...
January 23, 200719 yr I think Bassy only got about 4 minutes last night. Rondo is still behind Delonte West on the chart though. But nonetheless, good news!
January 23, 200719 yr Rondo 36 Games Played 16.7 minutes per game 4.4 points per game .395 FG % .182 3 point FG % .641 FT %
January 23, 200719 yr It all comes back to shooting the rock and Rondo still struggles there. But, so does Telfair. So, in other words, the Celtics are screwed. :creepy:
January 24, 200719 yr And that is why West moved into the lineup at the point, when it was said at the beginning of the year he would be moved to his natural 2 guard and Rondo and Telfair would handle the duties at the point. I noticed the last few games Rondo had been getting more and more minutes and producing more than Telfair. Some guys it takes a little while to get acclimated to the league and that could be the case with Rondo, even though he still may never get a jumper.

January 24, 200719 yr Author I wouldn't say an embarrassment to the league, they have the most pride history in the league...They have only been really down for two years now. Yea, they are down, but they are most def. not an embarrassment...
January 24, 200719 yr The Celtics had a great comeback against the Spurs last night, I thought they were going to win that game. I was watching it on the free preview of the NBA League Pass last night, and the commentators were talking nonstop about Rondo the whole game. Apparently they have a lot of faith in what he's going to be able to do in the league. Granted they were Boston biased commentators, but still... They were talking about him twice as much as any other player on the floor. Shows me he's getting attention places outside Kentucky. Did you guys see the play when he lost his shoe, got it, put it back on, and then went and stole the ball from Duncan and led the fast break? Nice play.
January 24, 200719 yr And as far as the Celtics being an embarassment... Tony Allen, Wally Z, Paul Pierce out with injuries... That's like the entire scoring load of the team right there... It's a miracle they don't just forfeit all their games.

I am getting League Pass next year. The lack of cable coverage is making me mad.:fight:
