Highlands vs. Covington Catholic Predictions/Updates

Featured Replies

Highlands has invited Cov Cath to play the game this year at NKU's Truist Arena this evening at 7:30pm.

Since 2011 Highlands has lost all but one contest against the Colonels from Park Hills.  The one win vs Cov Cath was back in 2018 when the Cov Cath football/basketball players hadn't joined the basketball team yet due to the State run they made that year.  Tried to beat the Colonel faithful from throwing that in my face as the reason for the loss.

Can Highlands keep this close and respectable?  Highlands lost to Cooper by 16 and Cov Cath lost to Cooper by 10, based on my Fort Thomas math skills that means this might be an under 10 point game, which would give the Birds a shot at the end.

I love the optimism I feel for tonight!

Go Birds!!!

I think the Birds are catching CovCath at exactly the wrong time, so I'll take Colonels by 20+.

I think this is close maybe even Birds up until half then the Colonels come out storming the locker room for a huge win!

Agreed. I think Cov Cath's loss to Cooper may give the Birds a little extra fire tonight, just due to the fact that the Colonels look "more beatable" within the Ninth after that loss, but I think Cov Cath is going to be playing with a big chip on their shoulder, and I think that'll push the Colonels to a strong win.

I can see things getting a little dicey on the hardwood tonight, so hopefully the refs are coming in with plans to keep everyone in check.
