Any word this morning? Would making kids go to the school in their district ease some of the burden?

Yes. It would eliminate the busing problem.

http://Check out this article from Courier Journal: Why are JCPS bus drivers angry? Here's what their union president says https://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/education/2023/11/03/jcps-bus-drivers-sickout-prompted-by-discipline-route-issues-union-leader-says/71438380007/

"They're tired of ... working 10 hours a day, then you get cussed out by kids," John Stovall, president of the drivers' union, told the Courier Journal on Friday. "It's just the accumulation of the long hours and the screwed-up Alpha routing system."

I mean it’s hard to argue against them, but also as easy to say “don’t like it? Go find another job”. To me it’s the same aspect as the lack of officials. Kids feeling more empowered to disrespect authority and parents afraid to be the disciplinarian. Certainly not only a JCPS issue.

I agree but I also find it interesting that another negative situation involving JCPS manifested in Louisville.

Run!
