5. Cooper vs. Collins

6. Southwestern vs. East Jessamine 

7. Madisonville-North Hopkins at #3 South Warren 

8. Woodford County vs. Dixie Heights

9. Owensboro vs. Ohio County 

10. Greenwood at Graves County

Feels like 5A playoffs will be fun. Don’t think any of the top teams are too good to get knocked off at any night.

I've thought all year it was a three-team race (Bowling Green, Highlands, and South Warren in some order), but every team below is more than capable of putting a scare into or even knocking off each other. Class 5A should be a very fun bracket to follow.

IMO even though that gap isn’t as big as it is in other classes 5A is still a 3-4 team race BG/SW in the west and Highlands/Scott County in the east. I would be pretty surprised to not see 2 of these 4 teams in the Finals.

Three team race. Highlands, BG, and South. Scott could sneak up on any of those three but the inability to score with those teams when they're on is a problem. In truth, I think anyone would be hard pressed to declare one team an outright favorite at this point.
