There is upset potential here. I think Owensboro Catholic will hang on to win but I think it's a one touchdown or less win for them.

Brady Atwell has passed for 2849 yards and has not played in the 2nd half of a game since the Aces played Henderson County on September 15th.

Don’t be surprised if Catholic embarrassed North Hardin. This game means more to Catholic and North Hardin is not disciplined enough to beat OC.    I will be surprised if OC doesn’t win by 3 TD

Just went on KHSAA website to check North Hardin record. They had to forfeit 3 games due to ineligible player.    I’m an Owensboro fan but I do want someone from our town to make it to Kroger F

That is a huge understatement! This game probably punches their ticket to the 2A title game if Owensboro Catholic gets the win.

If O Cath loses, they will probably have to beat LCA to get to the semifinals, then likely have to beat Beechwood in the semifinals.

If NH is average in the secondary then they will lose by 3-4 TDs. I don’t care if they can score. Catholic WRs are very good and all 4 are solid players.

North Hardin DL is average. North Hardin QB duo of Kirkland and Loggins have thrown for 2,748 yards on the season in 8 games but have also thrown a combined 23 interceptions on the season.

North Hardin has some talented players but they are undisciplined, are a turnover machine and rack up tons of penalty yardage in a game.

Then it's over. Catholic will dominate them and stop them to 7 points. 50-7 is my score now.

I am not sold on the Owensboro Catholic secondary or pass rush much at all.  As long as North Hardin can stay out of their own way, they should be able to put up points and could make it interesting.  I just think the sloppiness gets in the way and Atwell finds a way to outscore them.  Catholic has a ton of weapons and I think that will be the difference.

If North Hardin plays an undisciplined game,Catholic will "mercy rule" them. Now,that shouldn't happen because North Hardin does have talent, but if you do not have position discipline Catholic will bury you.Defending their quick passing game is like trying to defend the option. They put tons of pressure on your outside, and then kill you in the middle of the field.

Catholic's defense is better than you think. Greenwood, Owensboro, and Henderson County are the only teams that had over 200 yards total offense, and Greenwood got most of their's against the backups with a running clock. That being said, I do expect the Trojans to be able to move the ball some.

Should be an entertaining game. If North Hardin plays a clean game, both mentally and physically, I'll take Catholic 41-24 in a fun game to watch. If the Trojans play an undisciplined game, it will be a running clock before the end of the 3rd quarter.
