I may want to wait and see how Tubby responds. If they lose their next couple of games it might get interesting. A couple of years ago you stated that Tubby may be the best coach in the SEC. Is that still your opinion or has the SEC coaching ranks just improved that much? He is clearly middle of the pack in the conference at best now. A few more years and UK fans may steal my old Dale Brown slogan... "Never has so little been done with so much".

Oh I think the Cats may make the NCAA, and I also think that the Cards may not. Not much of a gamble on your part. Tubby has the keys to the Cadillac in the SEC. If any coach beats his team it should be an upset. It used to be that way. I noticed you only used one example from our control group, Donovan. He just won a national title and is ranked #1 in the country with a program that had been to the final four one time before he arrived. He made Florida what it is today. Yet Tubby takes over a team that was on one of the best runs in sports history and wins a quick title and declined ever since. All this at a program that some call the greatest in sports. Yet you say he "may be the best". I'd say there isn't much logic in your logic these days. Maybe its those blue shades you have started wearing.

Why do all the numbers matter. Are you telling me that Kevin Stallings is on even footing with Tubby? How about Stansbury down is Starkville? Man you have got it worse than I thought. You stick with Tubby. You know there is a high school around town that makes their case a lot like you do.:lol:

Given the circumstances, Tubby may be one of the worst in the SEC. If you are happy with him, I'm happy for you. My team was in the final four last year, I'm happy with getting to the final four every couple of decades. FYI, Brady may be on the same level as Tubby . Most of the other guys would do as well or better given the chance. I guess the certain local high school analogy fits. Thats a pity.

Make your case. They are both bad. But Brady is bad at a football school. Tubby, he can't make the final four at UK. We are talking about the best program in the country. Yet the guy can't get anybody that Duke, UNC, Kansas, etc. wants to sign with the Cats. It has to enter into the discussion where each coach is coaching. Tubby has a headstart on every team in the conference yet a number of those hanicapped teams have been to the final four since Orlando's last visit. Explain that to me.

When UL has more than one top 50 win (Syracuse at 47), they will be a legitimate shot to get into the NCAA. Future wins over UC (140), USF (162), St. John's (144), Seton Hall (113) and UConn (91) won't be top 50 either, or top 100 except maybe UConn. That would give them 10 wins Big East wins though. They have to beat Nova, G-Town, Pitt or Marquette to get in. Do you disagree???
