5. Lloyd Memorial at Pendleton County (10/5)

6. Union County at Hancock County

7. Franklin-Simpson -- OPEN

9. Rockcastle County -- OPEN

10. Bell County vs. Knox Central

Glad to see Rock on this list but not agreeing with their position or Bell for that matter seems Bell got punished for losing by 2 points in a awesome game by nearly falling completely out of rankings from being top 4 all year  and to be honest I feel Rock and Bell both could beat any team outside of top 3 convincingly especially a vulnerable Belfry who took their spot but Bell or Rock will get to prove that in a playoff matchup. The top 3 are favorites against Bell and Rock but turnovers or anything can change the outcome of a game and let’s be honest both Rock and Bell will score on any team and only way either lose is in high scoring affair as has been the case all year. But season will play out and only rankings that matter are those in the end. 

I have to think Mercer Co. is knocking on the door of this list. 

Titans are Top 10 this week on CalPreps and Massey with SoS to match on both. 

I've posted several times that I'm a big Lloyd Memorial fan, but #5 seems ambitious.

It's nice seeing optimism in Mount Vernon again. Been too long since the Rockets were a factor. That offense can score some points! 

The thought of a potential LexCath vs. Rock game in the playoffs could blow up a scoreboard.

I wouldn’t pick Rockcastle to beat anyone on this list “convincingly.” I do think they are capable of beating anyone outside of the top 3. I think Bell was a little over-inflated before this week. Allowing so many points to Boyd and Whitley didn’t bode well, and they did the same against Rockcastle. That said, any time you win at Log Mountain it’s a good win and it definitely was for Rock. 

Can anybody put out 1st two round likely matchups for Mercer, Rockcastle and some of these teams we think will win their districts?

I'm a Paris guy...you guys have a nice team...that QB is amazing...our teams kinda mirror one another...We were disrespected early by being ranked way too low...We knew you guys could give Bell Co problems...Great win ? We in Paris are rooting for you guys?

If they are both one seeds, I’d say Mercer would host Larue while Rockcastle would host either Magoffin or Powell.

Appreciate the kind words as I’m sure you seen my post prior to us playing you guys and how I seen film and knew how the game could play out. I respected Paris as did our coaching staff and team and to be honest we hate losing but that loss may have been exactly what we needed we just didn’t know it. After Rock lost that game the boys took the loss hard and the coaching staff told them to remember how they feel and make sure they never feel that way again. Then proceeded to say we are going to use this and take it out on Clay and boy did we ever! Then a week later we go to Log Mountain and do it all over again.

Thanks what about 2nd round or do you have a link that shows pairings of districts?
