Dixie still isn’t passing the ball enough. This team is too deep with athletes to keep using the same two week in and week out. If teams are going to play you in man coverage why not take advantage of it. I keep reading how Dixie shouldn’t hang their heads with the 1-3 record, and I hate to say it but yes they should. At the end of the day you are 1-3 not 4-0 like you should be. So hang your head and get back to work.

If I’m a Dixie WR it’s time to have that talk with coach.

If I was a receiver on Dixie’s squad I would catch the balls that are thrown first. Averaging at least two dropped catches a game… in the end zone. Had their chances last night as well. The running game is working, and they pass it just enough to keep the chains moving. The receivers in my opinion just need to make the most of the opportunities given. I agree it’s frustrating to be a fan/parent and see them at 1-3 knowing they have a way higher ceiling. But that’s not because they don’t throw enough.

How many passes were just overthrown in the SK game? The ability is there but they are just not connecting.

I went back and re-watched the game. I didn't see any dropped balls in the endzone.

1st Quarter:
-Dixie pass to the endzone was tipped away before it got Dixie's receiver by Cash Harney.

2nd Quarter:
-Threw to the endzone a couple of plays after the previous deep shot in the beginning of the 2Q. Ball was thrown long in addition to being thrown out the back of the endzone.

3rd Quarter:
- No passes to the endzone.

4th Quarter:
- Passed to the endzone and Braylon Miller tipped the ball away.
- 3 or 4 plays later they went for Mwamba in the endzone and Oliver Link batted the ball down.
- Passed to Rice in the back of the endzone in double-coverage. Ball was overthrown and may have been tipped before Rice bobbled it once while he was in the air and caught it out of bounds.
- Last play of the game they heaved the ball deep from about the 22 yard line to the opposite 30. It was a jump ball with multiple players from both teams going for it and Braylon Miller batted it down to end the game.

I’d just like to see the WR get the ball before we run the QB in the ground. Gregg has 73 carries on the season that’s the most from any QB and more than most RBs across the state. Yes he’s a big strong runner but how long can he keep it up with these tough teams we play. Dixie still has play Highlands, Conner, Cooper, and Ryle. That’s a lot of hard hitting defenses before you even reach the postseason.
