Are we looking at overtime?  And I know there is 719 left.

Right on cue, Blake Caudill goes 78 yards to grab the lead for Pikeville.

21-14 Panthers

6:53 to go

Retro football kick.

Seeing a head-on football kick is something I've not seen in quite a long while. And the Panthers just tacked on one more point on that PAT with one of them.

Ensuing kickoff is squibbed and nearly recovered by Pikeville. JC ball at their own 34.

JC goes airborne for big yardage to the Pikeville 40.

5:25 to go

Announcer's called JC's 26 yard first down pass a "laser"...that laser had an awfully uncanny resemblance to a loft if you ask me ?

Stanley again to stuff JC on 3rd down.

Huge play coming up. Timeout JC.

JC calls a timeout on 4th and 2 with the ball on the Pikeville 32 yard line. 4:08 left in the game.

Pikeville leads 21-14.

@Colonels_Wear_Blue, by Johnson Central standards, that was in fact, a laser

Pikeville denies JC on 4th down. Pikeville ball.

What a game both teams have lost their biggest weapon in this game. Pikeville misses two short field goals. Best game of the year for me so far.

You make an excellent point.

Dalton Matney runs it up the gut and is stuffed at the line of scrimmage by Deonte Stevens. Golden Eagles turn over on downs.

Pikeville 1st and 10 with the ball on their own 32 when we return from a timeout.

Panthers are leading 21-14 with 4:02 to go in the game.

Pikeville ball at their own 32. Gonna try and eat this clock.

3:32 remaining

JC linebacker Ryan Rice with a big hit on first down, making for a 2 yard loss.

2nd and 12 Pikeville on their own 30 yard line.
