I have to, They really seemed to be over looking Ryle tonight and looking forward to Shelby, why you would over look a good team I dont know, but thats what it seemed like to me.

I nearly put that in my post today, that they would do well to "get through" Ryle tonight.

Coach Jones said that there may have been a bit of that going on (Looking toward Shelby). Always need to play one game at a time. There is plenty of time to look at Shelby County now with 4 days to prepare.

Shelby although a big favorite to win this one should have their hands full. The 8th region doesn't have a team in the top 25 but SC is the team to beat with SK on the injury list. Gallatin and Owen both show good records (take away the times that they played each other) and they only 3 losses between them. Still, until one of them beats a Shelby, SK, or a Oldham they will be the little boys looking in. This game should show how close the top 6 or 7 teams in the region are. Good luck to the CATS.

Shelby just dismantled Franklin County last night and have Woodford on Friday before traveling to Gallatin. If Shelby does what they are supposed to on Friday their top guys will get plenty of rest before the game with Gallatin. I know Gallatin boasts a nice record but a look at their schedule tells you why. 12 of their 18 games have come against 8th region opponents which means they have played a number of small schools and some of the them twice. Shelby has played a much stronger schedule and is used to playing top of the line competition. This, along with the impressive height and ability that Shelby possesses, will carry them to victory on Saturday night. I will not be surprised if the game is close for a while because this is a season maker for Gallatin but in the end Shelby most likely wins this one by double digits.

Shelby will take this one by 10+. As said earlier, the cats will put up a good fight but Shelby may just be too much for 'em.

It wouldnt shock me if Shelby wins by 20. Gallatin will need to shoot lights out to stay even close to the Rockets.
