Solid game from the Cats on both ends of the court. Reed Sheppard started over DJ and led the team with 12 points in the first half. Dillingham ended up with 8 assist on the night and Reeves went for over 20 again. 

Team was very active defensively and disrupted Canada's offense quite a bit tonight.

Kudos to the person that streamed the game online tonight, kept me from having to wait until midnight to watch it.

Day off tomorrow, Team from Africa Saturday at 1:30 (probably not televised in US) and then Championship game Sunday against the Canada versus Germany winner.

Once again only a couple of shots taken that weren't either in the lane or a 3-pointer.

9 of the missed 3 pointers were in the 4th quarter when the game was pretty much out of hand. They hit I think 9 of 19 3's prior to the 4th quarter.

Thiero might end up being one of the most important players on the team this year. I love how he plays. 

From Jeff Drummond earlier in the week, it appears the Saturday game with Africa will be live on CBS Sports Network.

His teammates sure had confidence that was going in. 

I stayed up late and watched the game with the aid if a few bourbon.   Fun to watch.  I am really liking what I see out of this team.   I think we've all learned that you can't put ANY stock into these summer games.   But what I do like is that we've got a bunch of very athletic basketball players, not just athletic guys playing basketball.

To an extent, it's been fun to see this team without their two big guys.  They've adjusted well. Definitely no sense that the team was worried about not having those guys available and it's not because they're low impact guys.
