Not sure if it's official yet, but hearing Matt Nickel will not be returning to the sidelines for Central Hardin next season. 

5th region jobs popping up everywhere.  Is this a case of Decker graduating, or something more?

I think it probably has more to do with his daughters becoming more involved with volleyball and other activities and wanting to spend more time with family. I'm sure looking at what will be coming back makes an impact on the decision, but I think family is probably the biggest determining factor.

The relationship with the kids was average at best. Now is the time for principal Tim Isaacs and athletic director J.C. Wright to look outside the program for a quality coach with a winning pedigree. Any word on candidates for this job? Been around a month since it became open.

Central Hardin has hired Tavon Johnson as their new head coach. Tavon was an assistant at Bardstown.
