January 14, 200719 yr Get real guys! You must be wearing those blue colored glasses. When the coaches and AP put Kentucky in the top 10 or even #1 you totally agree. According to the same coaches and AP there are about 30 teams that can beat Kentucky on a regular basis at this time and you won't have it. Face the facts...Kentucky basketball has been on a six year down hill slide to mediocracy and it looks like we're going to be there a while. You can't count "good losses" as anything that's good. Back in the day, a loss was never something for the Blue to bragg about. It's a sad, sad time in the bluegrass today folks...Our fans are beginning to accept the average state that our beloved Cats are in. The reason the Cats are not ranked is because they can't beat a formidable opponent. Period! P.S. I can say whatever I want as long as I stay within the rules. Don't get so uptight, it's just my opinion. You are so right I mean for the past 6 years we have done nothing but go down. I mean I guess I was just dreaming in 03 and 04 when we were the top team in the nation going into the NCAA tournament. Then I guess I imagined us losing in the elite 8 in 05 in double overtime. Cause I mean if we been going down hill for 6 years, that means we coudn't have had years like that because that would contradict what you said about us going downhill for 6 straight years... Yes you do have an opinion just like the rest of us do. But I really would like to know what years are you considering when you are talking about when you say we are not like we use to be. I mean if you compare us to what we were from 96-98 then yes you are completely right we are not at that same level, but you know what no other team is at that level either. Alot of you have let that great run from 96-98 spoil you all and cloud your judgment about things... UK is on a 10 game winning streak yet still people try to put down the program. I guess its because you dont want Tubby around, so you would rather UK lose than win so Tubby would be gone...You still have yet to answer my question to why you think UCONN and Duke should be ranked and UK shouldn't. Some people didn't start getting into Ky Basketball untill 96!

January 14, 200719 yr Washington is 11-5 overall, 1-4 in the Pac-10 and somehow they continue to be ranked.....UK should be ranked, but I'm actually hoping they aren't.

But yet you claim UCONN and Duke are better teams even though they have both lost 3 games to teams that they were favorite to win. I mean UCONN has not beaten a single top 25 teams this year, and have lost to unranked teams. Duke has beaten Gonzaga who I dont think is ranked anymore and IU a team that UK has beat too. Except those teams lost to teams that they most likely favorite to win, while UK has won all the games that they were favorite to win. So you cant have it both ways and say UK shouldn't be in the top 25 since they haven't beaten any top teams. But then say that UCONN and Duke should be even though they haven't beaten any top teams either and have lost to teams that are unranked while UK has lost to teams that are ranked, and 2 of those teams are in the top 5 in the country...
