Curious for details on this one. It appears Rhet Ravenscraft is back for St. Henry. The Cru have respectable showings in two losses to Great Crossing and the Wildcats. Will they give Lloyd trouble if they meet in the 34th next week? 

Regular season finales ~ 

Newport (22-6): Friday vs. Ludlow. 

St. Henry (12-12): Thursday vs. Covington Holy Cross.

Here are some things I gathered from last night contest, Freshmen center James Turner was not in the gym with an illness. There was a lack of inside presence for sure. Junior guard Jabari Covington stepped up and made some tough plays to push the Wildcats ahead 20 points at one point. Freshmen guard Taylen Kinney was in foul trouble sitting most of the 2nd quarter. For the Crusaders, Braden Fedders was a major problem inside majority of the night, unfortunately no one else was all that consistent. Senior guard Ethan Kaiser got hurt in the 3rd quarter getting rolled up on. He left the game on crutches, hope the young man will be fine. All in all the Wildcats controlled the game for the most part, other than the run St. Henry went on to get the game under 7. 
 

Stats on KHSAA for the wildcats:

Jabari Covington- 18 points, 10 Rebs

Taylen Kinney- 17 points (4-5 from the arc)

Marquez Miller- 13 points, 8 Rebs

Dashawn Anderson- 3 points, 9 Rebs (this young man plays defense with the best of them)

Noah Silverton- 13 points.

Yes, Lloyd will know they were in a game.  Wouldn't really be surprised if St. Hank beat them.

St. Henry has to be one of the best  teams in the state without a winning record.

I was at the Great Crossing game where St. Henry outplayed and very nearly ran a top 5 team in the state off the floor.  St. Henry down 11 came back and tied them late and for a better part of the game were the better team on the floor.

Unsure of their names, but #’s 4, 12, and especially #40 who put the Cru on His back, should be proud of themselves.

St. Henry will beat Lloyd in districts.  And that may not be their only upset.  I would not want to play The Cru at the moment.
