No more turnovers for Travis Bowman........he quit the team this week and did not play against Highlands or Harrison County.

Highlands certainly isnt packing it in Sandman. They havent earned the wins us Birds fans would like to see but playing hard and staying in games with CCH and Henry Clay is positive. Especially since McGraw, clearly their 2nd best player is done for the season. On the road, losing by 11 to a Top team in the state, I would say that is respectable.

 

I'm sure Willie and the Birds expect to win each time out so moral victories are probably not going to sit well with them. However, playing these games prepares them for the 9th region tourney which is what its all about.

I think Henry Clay is much like Holmes. They need a reason to play. Come tournament time Henry Clay (and Holmes) will be tough outs.
