Boyd Co falls to 8-4

Congrats to the Raiders on the "W".

East Carter was lighting it up the first half. They came to play. Boyd County was off on their 3 pt shooting all night. On a positive note for Boyd their free throw shooting was on. Good win for East Carter!! Congrats!!!

No offense intended, but I have seen East Carter play 2 times and they were very inexperienced and looked terrible. How in the world could they beat Boyd Co. on their home floor, a team which has beaten Ashland and Russell??

 

Anyone have an explanation??

East Carter is a very inconsistent team, look great one night, look terrible the next. Tonight, they played very well. Short explaination I know, but accurate I think.

To be honest, Id say Boyd was on a all season high after knocking off Russell. Sounds like the Lions over looked East, Boyd was coming off a great win, East was coming off an bad loss, Im peronally not at all surprised that this happened. Congrats to East on a nice win, Boyd better start getting ready for the next one and not dwell on this one. How will cubsters poll go after Boyds loss and Russells win, I honestly see it the same as last week, if anything, Elliot deserves the three spot, Ashland and Boyd following.

This was the worst Boyd has played ALL year....Hats off to East and COach Baker....you just simply out played Boyd

Even the student sections were rockin. Boyd had about 10 dressed in TOGAS, and East had a bunch dressed in flashy colors. It was all good till East got out the dry erase board and started the GSA crap up. Koodos to school officials for acting quickly on that issue.

Boyd came out flat and had no motion to their offense. East had no answer for Selby underneath and Boyd just didn't go to him.
