Yes that is correct, however they still have to play Owen so that would most likely drop them to 4-4, tied with the winner of the Gallatin/Trimble game.

The Warriors defeated Henry tonight to move to 5-3.

"Abbreviated," and still great work. Featured player and District seeding update, +/+. Thanks for all you do @Adrian Woj Burner.

  • What a reward for Spencer Co. locking up 1 seed...You get Collins, a team with a style of defense that can give your 3 PT shooting game fits!  Tough district!

Gallatin defeats Trimble to move to 4-4 in the district, with 2 games left on their district schedule they should surely win.

Eminence has Owen (assuming they lose that one) and Carroll County who they should beat, however lost to them a few weeks ago.

Assuming Gallatin wins both games and Eminence defeats Carroll it would be all tied up 4-4 for the #2 seed.

The three presumed top challengers to North and Collins, heading in to this week, all go down in flames tonight. Yikes…

SK had a tough team, but surely didn't expect them to lose. Woodford played a very good Evangel Christian team, however I didn't expect them to lose by that much. Both of them pretty surprising. I am assuming your other challenger was Oldham? If so, didn't expect a loss by that much on their home court as well.

Owen County handled business at Carroll County, and Spencer County handled business against South Oldham on the road, an underrated win.

Woodford and SK take a slight step back, but Oldham County takes a huge step back.

Anybody heading to Dry Ridge for NO vs Grant Co tomorrow night?  I’m intrigued.

I was going to until some personal things came up.

Lloyd has some real good athletes. I've been scratching my head all season wondering when they were going to get it together. I guess they did Friday night in Independence.

I think this could be a good game.  Grant beat north 2 years ago.  North beat Grant on a buzzer beater last year.

Didn’t North scrape by Vs Lloyd?  So Lloyd is solid.  Not a bad loss for SK to loose to Lloyd.   Unexpected maybe but Llyod can compete with anyone when playing well.

I'll be there. The Braves are unbeaten at home so far this year. That could change this weekend when you have North and Great Crossings in a 24 hour period.

North beat Lloyd by 4 on their home court.

That’s a tough 2 days of basketball for anyone!

I think I’ll head to SK vs OC.  Hopefully OC puts up more of a challenge than they did against Collins.

The the is extremely busy tonight... here is some of the big games:

North Oldham at Grant County- Grant County is undefeated on their home floor, and now they host the #1 team in the region and #4 team in the state. Can they pull off the upset to stay undefeated at home?

Simon Kenton at Oldham County- at the beginning of the week I chose this as game of the week. If I would have known how Oldham would have performed against Collins I probably would have picked Grant and NO. However, his still has potential to be a great game. Both teams have height, but one team has Max Green, and I think I am going to take Oldham in the upset. Will Krohman be able to keep up with Green? Will Amburgey be able to contain Dynes?

Shelby County at Collins- This game should not be a very close game, however it was earlier in the year. These teams will square off in the district tournament in a couple weeks. Will they throw everything at each other? Hide some things and keep their game plan?
